| Purpose | "EonStor GSe 1000 is an affordable next-generation unified SAN/NAS storage system that can also be used as a gateway to cloud storage.
EonStor GSe 1000 storage system can handle file-level protocols including CIFS/SMB, NFS, AFP and FTP; block-level protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI and SAS); as well as object protocols that allow users to directly access files through a browser via their unique URL and store or backup data in the cloud.
It is also possible to use the cloud as a backup disk as an easily accessible and reliable element for data protection.
The new GSe 1000 Gen2 storage system with support for 12Gb/s SAS disk interface is an upgrade from the first generation SAS 6Gb/s systems to eliminate bottlenecks and improve performance." |
